Hi, I just thought I’d let you know what I’ve been up to since I introduced myself. Last month I really got the knack of crawling around the house. My favourite trick is disappearing under the computer desk and pressing a really pretty blue light. Unfortunately, all the lights then seem to go out which simultaneously sets my Dad off on one of his “Emily what do you think you’re doing?” rants. Clearly he’s not discovered the pretty blue light yet, he should get down on his hands and knees a bit more often.

It’s not only crawling that I’m becoming quite good at. I’ve also discovered the beauty of reading and can’t wait to pull out all of these books from the bookshelf. I should imagine that would please Daddy no end.

Piano Man
When I’m not reading I like to tickle the ivory on our new piano. The piano used to belong to Nanny but when she died we inherited it. Mummy and Isaac are learning to play and have been going to lessons. I have to admit it, they are both very good. By contrast I’ve a little way to go, mainly because my entire hand barely covers 2 keys. My time will come though, just you wait and see. Pity the neighbours.

Hello, my name is Emily and I am the younger sister of Isaac who you are very familiar with if you’ve been following the bathtime blog over the past 5 years. I’m so excited that Uncle James has set me up with my own blog, thanks a million James. I look forward to meeting you one day.

I’m Growing!
Here is a recent picture of me. As you can see I’m drop dead gorgeous – well my Daddy says I am anyway. I’ve got a cheeky smile and love to clap to music. I’ve also recently learnt how to raise my eyebrows up and down.
Best of all though, I’ve just discovered that if I put one leg in front of the other I can move around the room. I can even sneakily crawl over to Isaac’s toys and really annoy him. Revenge is so sweet!
